Your Logo. Your Brand. Your Story.

Updated: Jan 11, 2023

The logo is the face of your company. It's the first thing people see, and it's what they associate with your brand. Your logo should, therefore, be simple, timeless, and memorable.

A logo design is more than just a graphic image. It's about telling a story about your brand, company, or product. A good logo should be able to answer questions like "who are you?", "what do you do?" and "why are you different? The goal of any logo is to uniquely represent the company it stands for in both a positive and memorable way.

A logo is the business's identity. Using it on all the company's products, advertising materials, marketing campaigns, websites, social media pages, and other promotional materials consistently drives the message to your customers and is a reminder to associate your products with your brand.

A logo is vital to any business's branding strategy and should be part of every design used to promote your company. Therefore it is essential to remember to include elements of your logo on marketing materials and other design pieces. You can also create unique designs for your website or social media posts.

In this handout* we created for a school, we used elements of their logo, the tree, to fill the space. Using it this way keeps your brand's consistent look without looking too much like an advertisement.

The Ambassador brochure (bi-fold card) was printed on cardstock paper. It was given out at a Parent Ambassador breakfast to promote the school. It included the school's history, mission, and what the parents can do to support the admissions department. The talking points were intended as reminders of some of the highlights the families loved about the school.

This video uses elements of your brand logo and color to highlight your program. By keeping your design elements consistent, you can ensure that customers recognize your brand more easily. This will help you to stand out from competitors and increase brand awareness. It will also make it easier for customers to remember who you are when they come across one of your designs.
